JUst thought everyone should be aware

EA all new Low,
the new Loot boxes will have game-play altering buffs,
EG
Take 50% less damage
Do more Damage
Take less damage when you roll as X

But worst of all, you can now buy These Crates with real cash

 
PC games are getting more like phone games these days, loads of stuff to unlock if you grind for weeks on end, or buy now and "own" early. :rolleyes:

Sometimes i think online is the worst thing to ever happen to games just because of all this micro-transaction ********.

This is what you get for free DLC. You didn't think they were actually happy to make less money did you? :p
 
Exactly what was expected the moment they said they're ditching season pass/paid DLC. It's EA, they wouldn't have it any other way. Simple solution is to just not buy the game.
 
This is the worst kind of business model? what sane person will buy that now

If this does take off its very bad for the pc gaming industry

Big Star Wars fan here, I didn't buy the previous game and I'm pretty sure I won't be buying this one either. It's such a shame that an IP like this can essentially be going to waste. Is it cynical of me to think that it's in some way inevitable when something gets so popular?
 
Damn I was really looking forward to this. I've skipped over bf1 and thought this was looking so rich and starwarsy.

I despise EA this is biscuit takingly bad.
 
Urgh.

I was really looking forward to this after e3. Not anymore. This kind of grindy bullcrap and p2w is why I stopped playing battlefield from bad company 2.
