I was just referring to the lack of lag, wellies certainly better than WL! At some points in the WL its like you are battling the lag rather than your opponent. Hopefully Fifa 18 addresses this as for me when this years game isn't lagging its one of the best Fifa's.

Yup, I don't care about icons and new animations etc. I just want consistent servers, like you said there comes a point your battling delay rather than your opponent, in the same way youre trying to get used to the delay/lag rather than your own players.
 
Delay feels like such a leveller, it's so frustrating battling through it when you feel you're much better than your opponent.
 
But when the game is free of lag its genuinely enjoyable even if you lose. Such a missed opportunity this year :( I can only guess EA misjudged how popular SBC's would be, which has put more strain not he servers ? Or am I being to kind on EA:p

Nah, this is my first fifa since 14 and I'm having so much fun, especially with the coins available through WL, I got the chance to try players I only dreamed of using back then.

The only downside of WL is that because it's a competitive mode with big prizes, people are more salty/toxic when they lose.
 
Considering they've never acknowledged the delay means they won't do anything about it. EA servers have been awful for years and have progressively got worse as the demand rises but those who complain still give hundreds of pounds to them so what incentive do they have to do anything? The franchise needs to go down the COD route and sales drop that much so they have to do something.

Gold ranking in Weekend league and to get into Div 1 :)

Went 1 behind but Ronaldo, Best(won a penalty) and Suarez pulled it back.

Then spent 9mins at the corner flag. Wasn't letting Eaids even get a chance to stop the win lol.

Hope there is a restructure in the weekend league next time more games over more days or less games on a weekend something needs to give.
 
I think reducing it to 30 would work, maybe even 25? 40 games just takes a ridiculous amount of time.

On 4-0 this morning, all pretty easy games. Best seems very good so far, great passing and dribbling, good pace and his balance is fantastic, he just rides challenges so easily.

Just promotion, then from there on just hold div 1 each week and you'll get auto qualifications.

Yeah @Rids having some huge delay, it's more noticeable late in the game though hmm. It starts ok then at half time the shift happens, my hands are actually cramping up because of how hard I'm gripping the controller to counter or predict the delay lol
 
Don't think I can be bothered with the WL tbh it's just mentally and physically exhausting and there's not much to play.

These Futtie SBC's pulled me back.
 
I've had a little mix around and it's brought some entertainment back to my matches. Kane as a CAM, behind Son and Martial.

The monthly rewards this month are good and it's been made easier to get elite. EA know how to keep you playing.

Like diva says, seasons is so much more enjoyable than this repetitive ****. The same teams, the same formations, the same celebrations, everyone is a sheep that all they do is find out what the 'pro's' are doing and copy. The whole kick off, offside trap thing, someone kept doing it to me yet the amount of lobbed through balls I countered and got through, it's ridiculous, the FIFA community is a cancer, the absolute dregs of society.
 
Yeah, it all depends what the youtubers and pros are doing that week that will determine what type of playstyle you'll come up with.

I'm at 20-11 now and going for gold 2 then gonna play some little big planet or one of the ps+ games I got for free :D
 
Think I'm gonna sack WL off other than when I'm actually playing the game on an evening. I wouldn't normally play during the day but the lure of getting my games done is too strong. This is all with a 50k gold 433 team too and the rewards I've got each week/month have been **** poor so what's the point! It makes me no better having better players.

I agree with most of the above with the exception of having a better team doesn't help! Everything else though you're right, Gorilla and that hashtag guy are fine but the rest as you say just add to the cancerous community. I forget but is/was the counterstrike community as bad? It must be over 15 years since I played that game so I've forgotten.

Seasons is far more fun, decent connection more often than not, better play style and rewards don't really count for much at this stage of the game. Roll on Fifa 18 so we can all rinse and repeat :D
