Ones that are cases tend to be made for specific models of phones, no? Can't recall seeing a generic case that fits multiple, but then again I've not looked too hard.I've been going on a lot of long walks recently and with GPS on to track my progress my One Plus 3 will only last 4-5 hours with pretty much no other use of it so I need a power bank to keep it charged up.
I've taken a brief look, and a 5000mAh one should be plenty, but I'd rather not have one hanging off my phone all the time, are there any good ones that are designed like a case that I can put my phone in? Obviously needs to have a usb c connector though.
That battery usage sounds off. My OP3 goes in my bag as a backup to my garmin and running Strava (screen off) a couple of hours and it's down to 80%.
now I am seeing used ones for nearly £400 O_o

I've used my phone very much like yours, and just have a long cable going from the powerbank in my bag, out a side zip or the hydration tube hole and down into whatever pocket my phone is in. It's not elegant, but works fine.
I vote for Anker too, what with their turbocharging capabilities etc. Had an issue with one of mine when it arrived and they sent out a replacement immediately. Great service.
I've just done a walk now, 3 hours and it's down to 50% with a bit of usage so not as bad, the actual runkeeper app only used 16%, the screen used 9%, android system 4%, android os 4%, google services 3%, chrome 2%. Is that sort of usage typical?
Yeah they are for specific models, the 7500mah Zerolemon one suggested earlier costs £57 with shipping which is a bit steep, that doesn't even take into account customs.
I think I'm going to get the Anker 5000mah slimline one as I can strap that to my phone so no wires going everywhere.
I don't know if you've got Prime, but Amazon are doing a sale on the 11th of this month and Anker stuff often seems to feature in those.
Amazon seem to be getting a bit excited with this prime sale lol - practically spamming me with an hourly countdowns and early deals, etc. heh.
Looks like there is a whole load of RAVPower and Anker devices queued up for deals.
It is a bit of a bombardment. May I ask how you know what's queuing up? Price rises a few days before the sale a tell tale sign or something?
Original 3. Like I say my screen is off so maybe it's that. Are you using the original or the newer T model?
