i agree with what Kenny Florian said about it, words along the lines of.. if Chiesa was in danger of having a limb broken by being too tuff to tap then yeah the ref should stop it,
but he shouldnt have got in the way of someone being choked out, so yeah Mario sucked here.
 
Agreed with the above, Yamasaki shouldn't be stopping the fight for a choke, crap reff'ing.

I see Hendricks missed weight, again. Moves up to 185 and comes in at 188 :confused::confused:

At least the Barbarian ironed him out.

Great debut for Gaethje but I can't help but think that against a more dangerous striker getting hit that much will be a problem!

Great fight tho!
 
I thought match up wise that'd be a tough night for Gaethje which it was but he managed to drag Johnson in to a brawl and gutted it out!

A lot to like about the former WSOF champ.

I agree in principle but I thought the reaction to the stoppage was just ridiculous.
 
Gutted the main even is off - it was a very interesting match up!

Apparently Joanna Jędrzejczyk offer (or even begged!) to step in but things didn't work out!
 
WOW. First Cody/TJ cancelled, then Cerrone/Lawler removed, now Nunes/Shevchenko. WTF is happening. First card I've been hyped for all year as well. Terrible.

Oh well still not a bad card. Mainly looking forward to Romero/Whittaker and Reem/Werdum.

Hopefully Browne is about to get KO'd again. Can't stand the guy.
 
Did anyone catch the TUF final? Crazy fight with Johnson and Gaethje.

Romero showing why I think Bisping actually beats him, get out of the second round and he gases so badly. Fair play to Whittaker, injured and manages to still go on to win.

Not sure I was too impressed with Bisping’s cage side/after fight antics mind :p
 
Seeing rumours Mousasi is off to Bellator :confused:.... massive mistake from the UFC if that happens, very entertaining fighter and a legit title contender.
