Summer Transfer Window 2017/18 - Rumours & Signings

I think 6 mill for wilshere is unreal, We may as well keep him as feel he could still do a good job.
Too injury prone, he can't last a full season so I don't see the point in keeping him.

Of course I don't want to see him leave but unless he can stay fit for the whole season, it's just best to let him go.

Neymar is 10x the player Lukaku is so he should go for at least a billion. Also, that rumour surfaces every single window. He'll probably double his wages but it'd be a ridiculous move. No way it happens, IMO.
Pretty much what I think, he won't go...I'd be very surprised if he did leave Barca.

£195mill is truly bonkers though.

Some odd news with Keita tonight, supposedly according to twitter, he has walked off the pitch, no communication with bench, manager etc and just left stadium ?? Very bizzare

Didn't he play most of last season before getting injured towards the end? To Google! 27 appearances for Bournemouth last season. Not bad and hardly 'injury prone'.

He's been injured every season for long periods, he is certainly prone to injuries. Last season he was unlucky. I think it's worth sticking with him a little longer. It's a shame his career has been plagued as he had so much promise.

66m Keita bid rejected. (Possibly from Liverpool)
As I have been saying we won't get keita, considering he supposedly has a release clause next season of 48m they clearly just want to keep him as they have said time and time again.

It's no different to how we would act if people came in for countinho. If keita wants out as bad as the itk claim he needs to hand in a transfer request.

My only other theory is they want exactly 70m until then sod off.

We don't seem to be credible linked with any alternative either. So klopp/fsg being stubborn or have something going on with keita deal that's not been leaked

Perisic isn't that good. I think we should be pushing Martial to get more game time. He is unbelievably talented and he just needs the confidence a few games and the managers support will give him. Our really pressing issues in my opinion are a really good DM and perhaps another CB. A top winger would be nice but we have more pressing concerns.

We have:

Rojo, Blind, Jones, Smalling, Bailly, Lindelof, Tuanzebe

We only need a CB if we start selling some.

DM is the only desperate need imo. We can't go into another season with a mix of Fellaini and Carrick.

I think we're ok at CB considering there aren't that many great ones out there. We have Lindelof and Bailly as first choice, with adequate support.

A DM and some sort of creative attacker should be priority, in that order.

If true then short of Keita doing something drastic (not just handing in a transfer request) I can't see the deal happening now. They've not just rejected the offer but completely ruled out the possibility of selling him. We're not going to increase our offer by enough to make them change their stance and having said what they have, they'll look stupid if they backed down over a few extra £m.

If the release clause is true they will still look stupid so could get say 70m now but next season 48m from the business side its a retarded move, that's supposedly why there board want to sell however owner doesn't
