Before the miners, how was the 1070's priced?

Around £350 to £400 with the occasional dip beneath that.

The GTX1070FE launched at $449 which is around £415,and the lowest official price for an aftermarket one was meant to start at $379 which is around £350. The GBP prices are including 20% VAT.
 
Mostly they were between £380 and £445 depending on model (not including like silly hybrid cooled models) - £350 were limited special offers.
 
Seen deals for low £300's recently for decently cooled options, but most are around the £400 mark

If it is the ones I think from what other people posted here those deals weren't being honoured (or sold out really really fast).
 
I got my Inno3D not long after launch when it was on offer on here for £389. I think the normal price was around £420 and even then was on the low priced side of the range. These cards launched before the Brexit vote and were stupidly priced from the begining but with no high end card from AMD (and still isn't) there was no other choice.
 
Just use our voucher code on the Gigabyte G1 1070, drops it nicely and its a great card, or pay a little extra and get a 1080 as those are very well priced now. :)

Not really a normal price though is it, when its a deal and it sells out instantly. The question was before miners how were 1070 prices and they generally sat at £359-£499 depending on model, the £499 being the AIO/H20 variants. Apart from odd flash deals £400 was around the price you could expect to pay. Just like 1060 was typically £239-£299 for a 6G, it was only the crazy Asus deal we did where you got a 6G for £219 with two free games and that deal was posted clearly warning gamers to dive in and get one because the miners would come and buy them all and low an behold they are gone and those same cards are now closer to £300 and beyond.

If mining collapses today, the prices in a few weeks might get back to where they once were, but right now the mining craze is still booming and as such here at OcUK we list cards at artificial high prices with voucher codes to get them at a more normal price, most of those codes are still active. :)

I just hope Vega will have descent preorder time and price since ill be F5 to get preorder asap :)
