Not sure if you misunderstood me. I was just trying to say suarez could have gone when arsenal met his release clause we kept him a year and let him go. Every Liverpool fan knows we won't keep countinho forever, since barca have now done what we all expected maybe we say to countinho stay give us a year if we don't do well in Europe or league you can go, let's face it of he doesn't leave us now he will at some point so it will be trying to work it best for all.

oh christ don't bring reality into an opinion on liverpools transfers antics on suarez

i'll chip in. suarez is world class, way too good for liverpool and they got shafted on the transfer. coutinho is decent, nothing more and would be a bench warmer at barca or real. eriksen is slighly more decent. sig is not a million miles behind.

You said about Suarez giving you a year on how you did in the CL, he didn't give you that chance, he left.
You mentioned nothing about Arsenal, and if a release clause was met there's no "keeping", the player decides, it's also funny to say you "let" Suarez go lol.
 
Maybe I explained myself incorrectly my main point is which I think you do get anyway is that countinho will give us this year see how we do and then leave.

Based on transfer fees we could get over 80m for him easily.
 
Coutihno's probably had enough chances to leave, I don't know the rationale. Perhaps he will leave one day, but I couldn't agree that it'd be one season that would do it for him. He's quality player playing in a team that he's one of the main stars.

I can both understand him leaving in general for bigger things, or staying put.
 
Is 64ish million for Suarez a shafting? (Given the current inflation thats gonna be 100 mill if sold today)

Would take Coutinho over Eriksen any day of the week, Eriksen may have a slim advantage in stats but Coutinho on song is better to watch. :)
 
He's been ok from what I've seen, going to take time to form a partnership. Especially in pre season when we're switching defenders and keepers multiple times a game.
