Touting Benzema around for funds too.
Well, haven't they briefed that one of BBC would have to go to fund it? Out of those the preference being Benzema would seem sensible.
I feel sorry for Monaco. One good season and their team gets picked apart.
How long is it gong to take them to rebuild?
That is their business model. It's what they want to happen. They buy young cheap players and sell them on for a lot. Monaco do not have the infrastructure to sustain a top level team, they can't afford the wage bill of the elite clubs due to their limited stadium and fanbase.
But they are bankrolled by a billionaire. So money isn't an issue.
Yes it is, being bankrolled by a billionaire doesn't mean it's sustainable. Monaco's stadium is 18k. The entire population of Monaco is less than PSG's stadium size. FFP means it doesn't matter how rich their owner is, they can't sustain £50m transfers and £300k contracts.
Fair enough... but what about Man City!?
Bale would be great but he'd be very expensive and has a slightly patchy injury history. I'd be surprised if it happened.
from the same person who said he 'wouldn't mind bale if he was cheap' before spurs sold him to RM
magic
That was before his great season wasn't it? I'd have been quite happy with him otherwise.
Anyway, you're one to talk, do you even read your own posts?! I thought we weren't getting Lukaku the other week, no way...
As much as I hate to admit it (as I detest cheating Man Utd) I think Lukaku will score 25 goals plus for them per season, and can see him going past 30we'll see how you feel about lukaku this time in 2 years
