I'll try to make it clear for you. I've been a doctor for 8 years and seen people die and never as you describe. Please tell me how you have gained your experience and knowledge of this.

9 years in here and seen more than my fair share of children die. It's normally peaceful and calm. I'm sure Charlie was well looked after.

Terminal secretions aren't that hard to manage. Cheyne-Stokes and agonal gasps aren't distressing if you explain it to the family properly.

You're well qualified in caring for the dying right?

And the circle is complete, that's why drugs are administered to make it usually seem peaceful to the family, don't know why priest is going hysterical :/

sounds like a vanity exercise, GOSH helps kids with serious illness and a donation there would be nice to offset the money the funds they've already wasted

It'd be an interesting and depressing exercise to compare the fees spent on legal versus the portion of the amount raised that they're willing to donate back. And by legal I mean the actions already undertaken not the ones they're almost certainly about to start.

'Seem' peaceful. What makes you know that it's not? People know about terminal secretions and you warn the family.

How many people have you seen Cheyenne-Stoke? I don't think the reality is what you imagine. I've seen elderly frail patients die with no medications or sedation and it has always been peaceful. So again, please tell me what experience you had that differs?

Completely agree, with hindsight i think GOSH should just have agreed to letting them take Charlie to the US and would have avoided this whole circus.
