Pfft, this is just another example of division in society being created by the big-clothing corps. Would never have happened if everyone walked around naked all the time. Would also reduce CO2 emissions linked to wardrobe production, no need for a wardrobe when all you own is one large trench coat for the winter months.

So you have really never been to a restaurant that you can remember which didn't have a "family room" or something similar? For sake of keeping this simple let's just say that anything other than a toilet meets the criteria of what you are saying.
Personally, I think you are talking utter BS. I could probably count on one hand the restaurants I have been to that have something other than a toilet designated to changing or feeding babies and I am with the other blokes who think feeding a child in a public toilet is a ridiculous thing to expect.
Frankly, I don't understand why breastfeeding in public is such a big issue. Surely we've all grown up by now? I can't understand why anyone would be offended at the sight of a baby feeding naturally from its mother.
If offence is never given, what are people trying to achieve when they insult people with offensive language? Wouldn't that be a pointless exercise, if offence cannot be given?

Nope cant say that i have. Every single restaurant i have been to has facilities for mothers as has been described.

So you are saying places to eat without this facility must not be good in comparison to ones that have?
Some of the best places I have ever eaten have been tiny little restaurants with barely enough room for a male and female toilet, never mind a dedicated room for changing babies or breastfeeding. They were expensive and really high quality, but, I guess I should go looking for "better" eating establishments?

When people say offense is taken not given that means that the person saying the so-called "offensive" language did not intend to cause offense. Offense taken is in the eye of the beholder and hence is very subjective. Did that clear it up for you?

Not really. Given that breastfeeding is now legal in such places...do the maths. Do you think a restaurant would not accomodate them? Or just let them have at it...everything hanging out... at the dinner table? Hrmm i think an owner of such a business would make sure customers had a private area for such things....but hey what do i know

It's off-topic, and the intent is clearly to cast doubt on my ability to make a rational argument.
Ask yourself, would it be valid to repeat this in every thread as an "argument", because I did indeed mention those things in a different thread?
How is that different from, say, something like, "You're fat, lol, and you're gay" as an "argument" in a thread not about exercise or sexuality?
Just like Mags keeps posting "lol, furry" in *all* of my threads, and the mods think that's fine also.
The mods certainly do take exception to it as I've received a warning for mentioning something someone said in a previous thread before. Perhaps a post in the moderation forum might help you?

people only try to give offence, it's down to the person receiving it whether or not they actually take offence, and the level of insults someone can take is entirely down to them.

It wasn't. It was a plea to try to understand why you think something that the majority of mature adults with a modicum of life experience see no issue with something you have less experience of. You have mentioned this many times and so I believe it to be relevant to the debate. You don't have the life experience, relationship experience or societal experience to really make a fair judgement. Which is why I completely disagree and perhaps unfairly disregard your opinion on this matter.
Those facts that you yourself have admitted publicly will necessarily have an impact on your points and opinions. You can't be so insecure to the point to what I have said could be in anyway misconstrued as an attack. Surely?
If you took it that way as offensive then I apologise, but I think those facts do highlight and give an insight to your close minded views.
