Was just thinking the same thing. Something-o-matic was a popular naming convention in the 50's and 60's.

It really does have a certain presence in the flesh. The brakes are massive carbon jobs, the exhaust tips are massive but not overstated and the rear lights look very Ferrari for a "hatchback" (or shooting brake, depending on who you ask). Loads of little details which elevate it in to a different league to whatever rivals it faces (can you think of any? I can't). It looks to have quite a bit of boot space and the interior looks very comfy but also prepared for a nice b-road jaunt. I get the impression it'd be a ridiculously good car to cross a continent in.

Is it worth the £400k odd with options (povvo spec being £338k)? Depends on how deep your pockets are, and if mine were as deep as this car's owner's evidently are, I wouldn't think twice.

EDIT: It's not a TDF, ignore the last paragraph. Explains why he's got 2, the yellow one is the TDF.

Bloke near me has recently been going on about his new c63. I'd clocked him out in it once or twice driving like a bit of a bell and noticed something odd...it seemed rather slow and rather quiet. Heck, i out accelarated him every time we joined the dual carriageway together.
Ran the plate yesterday. 3 litre dag dag.
