65" 4k TV for PC Gaming

I've never seen anyone describe the picture on an OLED as soft nor have I seen a mention of lack of detail/clarity. Did you have a look what picture mode and settings were being used?

You need to use the sharpness test screen with avia.

When set correctly, lines should not have any halos around them (too high) or for the edges to be blurred (too soft)

Basically you want it exactly like a PC monitor. One pixel is one pixel, not sharpness set high so it bleeds into the next pixel

You're entitled to your own opinion of course but saying a 902b is better than any of the TV's mentioned is a bit of a broad statement in a thread with OLED's.

The 902 is a fantastic set but I don't know many who would take it over a C7.

I demoed C7 for a week on loan & sent it back due to fast motion problems, also the C7 cannot get as bright as the 902 for hdr.

What fast motion problems? I watch football on my B7 and haven't noticed anything and I hated motion issues on previous TV's I've owned.

You're right on the HDR peak brightness but I haven't found any content so far that's made the B7's lower peak brightness an issue.

Football, F1 where just 2. Peak brightness is not even half of the 902, and as HDR evolves it will be a big problem for all oled's.

Don't get a 902. Get an LG OLED.

Returned the 902 within two weeks, and never looked back. Motion smearing is horrendous and it's still an LED TV at the end of the day, and it leans back slightly.

This peak brightness stuff just doesn't really seem to have much bearing to me either. Yes it's not as bright as an LED, but by amounts that no normal person would notice or care about. It's still incredibly bright. My 65" B6 is brilliant and i've never once thought "wish that could be brighter".

Motion issues are a case by case basis. Some people are really sensitive to it, and don't get 'used' to it easily. Most don't notice at all.
What all my friends have noticed when using my TV is that the image is amazing and they've all commented on it.

Yeah I'm kind of set on the C7. Only trouble is my card for 0% got lost in the post, so purchase has been delayed - which is a good thing in some ways as the price has dropped.

Haha, good choice!

Losing the card has a silver lining by the sounds of it. :)

If you can stretch to it, I'd wholeheartedly recommend a professional calibration. Loved the results when mine was done. Seems a shame not to when forking out that kind of money.

Ah OK, so how much money and who's best? I'm in the hampshire area. Thanks.

I usually just take settings off the web...

Every panel is different, so settings off the web can make things worse sometimes... I'd enquire with Steve Withers from AVforums. He did mine. Really nice guy. :) I honestly can't remember what I paid. Think it was a couple of hundred. Not bad considering he drives to your house, brings his equipment and so on, and it's around 4 hours work.
He does every picture setting you require, e.g. Gamer, Night-time, Daytime etc
