Booths for me, also M&S, tesco and Lidl, never even been to a Waitrose.

Do you southerners get Booths down there? I thought it was mainly a Northern place. Bloomin' wonderful too.

I think my mums priority is visit Chorley for the Booths rather than to see me!

The problem with Waitrose is somethings are grossly over priced and others you just pay for the quality. As long as you appreciate that it's fine.

My girlfriend is from Leeds so we go up quite often. We go to Ilkley and occasionally pop into Booth's there. Between that and Betty's Tea Rooms there..

Being a southerner I do find there's a very distinct type of Yorkshire/northern middle class person. Very outdoorsy-looking, always drives a range rover etc.

It's a flipping shop. There is no "prestige" supermarket, except for the mugs who think there is and you pay over the odds.

So you don't think there's a noticable difference between Harrods and Aldi?

An extreme example I admit, but to say they're all the same is simply wrong.
