'Incident' on Tube - District Line

Sounds like a failed sodium chlorate or hydrogen peroxide bomb, possibly failing because the muppet used a plastic tub to contain the chemical reaction & pressure.

Yeah sounds like a crude pressure cooker bomb minus the pressure cooker which renders it fairly useless...

Yeah, could even have been deliberate as the terrorist didn't have the stomach to actually kill people and just wanted to instil fear and terror in people ?!?

Or it was planted by a friendly to push another agenda?

After what trump posted and the fact the police have said they are now conducting a man-hunt it appears whoever committed this crime was already on a watch list.
I'm guessing an intellectually and mentally challenged kid brainwashed with online ISIS propaganda, lone wolf religious extremist/nutter.

Been confirmed that the device had a timer set so they were lucky that it didn't go off in a tunnel.

Hopefully no one is seriously hurt and they catch the scum responsible fast.

Air ports do ok.
Airports have massive queues, much larger staff numbers, far larger waiting areas and even a very busy airport doesn't have the same number of people that some of the tube stations deal with per hour.

Unless you're expecting people to arrive at the tube station several hours in advance of every journey and massively enlarge them it's not practical.

Heathrow (one of the busiest airports in the world) has something like 800k passengers a day, the London underground deals with around 5 million many from smaller stations that aren't even fully manned.

Lol at lefties trying to now use ********* against right wingers. It doesn't work like that :D
Pretty sure newsthump is satire :D.

Glad no one was killed. Hopefully the pleb gets caught quickly.

Somewhat expect the standard that they were known to authorities and that the issue is the internet isn't censored enough.

don't talk sense, he'll quote you with a ink to how baggage is handled in airports as some sort of support for his position.

I've only used the tube a few times before and each time it was out of rush hours yet still manic, checking bags of every commuter just wouldn't work.

Recon it will get to the point that all clothing and bags are banned on public transport? Only a couple places to hide anything while in the buff and I'm pretty sure the awkward facial expressions would give it away pretty quickly. :D

Will be interesting to see if this guy was on "the list" of people of interest.

Also lol @ people calling for baggage searches and scanners on the tube,

Soon as people realise there is no real solution for stopping these kind of attacks the better.

Then we don't have to bother reading ridiculous suggestions and replies informing them they are ridiculous.

Speedy recovery to those injured.
