Utter rubbish.

AfD is a protest vote against the large amount of migration. Migration which has tailed off and is a net benefit to the German economy and props up their population growth which was becoming an issue.

Net benefit? Remind me how many of these migrants are working again? Its ~20%. Over 1million are leeching.

And as I kind of expected this remark: Benefit in finances is the ultimate and only one worth considering? Then we shall ignore all of the multitude of problems these people bring and the female population will bear the brunt of sexual crimes. But that's fine because their may [through some doubtless dodgy research methods] be a net benefit to the German economy.

The parties stance is also anti Muslim, anti immigration, anti same sex marriage, anti same sex adoption, believes women should take “traditional” roles in society (anti feminism) and believe climate change is a hoax.

If it’s not far right, it’s VERY “right” leaning and several of its prominent members/leaders hold some “interesting” views.

So their views mirror those of whole swathes of the world. I am anti-feminism. In case you missed the memo feminism isn't what you think it is anymore (just take a look on mumsnet).

The reality is the AfD and parties like them are gaining traction precisely because politicians are deliberately involved in the killing of their citizens. Accomplices if you will. Nations which behave as Merkel did are breaking the most fundamental principle of nation states: The safety, security and protection of its citizens and preservation of their rights.

We are already seeing laws being routinely flouted and this is the multiple levels of policing we are seeing.

And that is the problem with the Euro. If all countries in it were equally as wealthy it wouldn't be a problem. But because they are not, so we get some skewed figures like that.

Merkel expected to be still in power, but looking like a right wing party is going to be in joint power also, the AFD.

Merkel can form a government with the SPD and any other party of her choosing. She doesn't need the AFD at all.

If the AfD who only formed in 2013 can become the 3rd biggest in their parliament then I am sure Nigel will be thinking he can be the PM here

See, I used to subscribe to the same mindset. That politicians make catastrophic mistakes. However, there is no way you could unintentionally make a mistake like that. Therefore the illogical must invariably be true: This is a deliberate act. Nobody is that stupid.

The TUC calculated the changes in employment and real wages using OECD data released in their 2016 Employment Outlook. The data are related to figures 1.2 and 1.6. The OECD derive real wages from national accounts, dividing total wages by hours worked and putting into real terms with the household consumption deflator. These can differ from those based on average weekly earnings and CPI inflation used in the UK.
