Weapons like this have no place in a evolved and civilised society![]()
Unfortunately, despite how much we may think it, we are far from an evolved and civilised society, quite the opposite really when it gets down to it.

nothing will change....people are prepared to sacrifice a few hundred people a year to keep hold of their guns...thats the reality in America
Some 13,286 people were killed in the US by firearms in 2015, according to the Gun Violence Archive, and 26,819 people were injured [those figures exclude suicide]. Those figures are likely to rise by several hundred, once incidents in the final week of the year are counted.
So many people die annually from gunfire in the US that the death toll between 1968 and 2011 eclipses all wars ever fought by the country. According to research by Politifact, there were about 1.4 million firearm deaths in that period, compared with 1.2 million US deaths in every conflict from the War of Independence to Iraq.
Expect screams of rage from the Breitbart crowd when they realise they can't blame this on Islamic terrorism.
That’s a bit harsh. Rottys only saying he should have been there. I don’t see how he’s linking himself as you say. Can’t even say something simple without being jumped on any more.
Shootings in America are one of the places I don't assume terrorism straight away due to their ridiculous laws. If this was anywhere in Europe I would have guessed terrorismNonsense, the usual suspects/bigots at the start of the thread were chucking around the usual and boringly predictable 'damn those atheists again' 'religion of peace' ....etc ...etc![]()
Like I said, it adds nothing to the discussion.
Why are you trying to turn this into a Political debate? So far we've seen the absolute NEED to label it as terrorism when it is in fact a mass shooting conducted by a American citizen with no apparent Political or Religious motivations, people are trying to use it as an excuse to attack Trump, you're now trying to say people wanted to blame Islamic terrorism. No one wants to blame anything, it might be a fairly reasonable thought to have though given the amount of attacks over the past few years

Oh no, he must support them then! I don't see the need for people to go out and specifically condemn attackers it's pretty ******* obvious it's inferred. No condemnation of the vile murderer though![]()
well no that's just nonsense

So sad and infuriating that those low life are attacking people when they are out enjoying life.50+ dead now!![]()
Like that has been a requirement for posting in GD
IMO its a few steps up from some of the other posts in here looking to take some sort of religious or political dig and a totally normal reaction even if it adds nothing in terms of content.
