The video only further proves InfoWars will scrape the bottom of the barrel to shill their agenda, that light could be in anything and further disproven when it's not in sync with the actual gunshots. The brightest city on the planet will have plenty of those lights about. Reflections, maybe something in the actual hotel room?

Tricking people like you is like taking candy from a baby! Zero critical thinking or scepticism. As others have obviously pointed out the flashing light continues when the gun sounds stop.
There is also the fact and reality that you don't get a muzzle flash every time you pull the trigger, when I shot an m16 in texas it only caused a muzzle flash once out of 10 fairly rapid shots (see video for proof)

There's so much news I can't go through all of it now,

We're not far from Las Vegas atm, so it's big news here - everyone is talking about it, apparently the gunman had been in the hotel for more than 2 days and had installed cameras so he could see when the police were coming, sounds like it was a highly planned attack - hell only knows what the motive was.

Yes but the flickering in the video posted is too consistent in both timing and brightness, a gun simply wouldn't create that imho

it is quite clearly a machine gun... whether the belt has been placed within a drum isn't particularly relevant (and likely it hasn't as there would be no practical purpose here to use a drum)

So far the videos I can find showing it seem to show more consistency with a faulty fluorescent light than muzzle flashes and too many of them it is widely out of sync with the gunfire sounds - not just the <3 second delay due to distance.

Likely an assault rifle or light machine gun with a large magazine or belt feed - even with unreliable drum mags, etc. in youtube videos they've often managed 2-3 mag dumps fine between ones where it jams so not necessarily an indication of anything.

With the distance involved to the target highly unlikely to be a smaller gun.

doubt very much it is an assault rifle, sounds like a machine gun (or at least in the clip posted above with the long bursts of fire) - perhaps there are other clips where he's using other weapons?
