But for the one second you stood still it looks like boggo sandstone to me. Some of it coarse grained, some probably more medium grained.

flaw to the test being if the rock is too cold there might not be any reaction

Yeah it certainly looking like some type of sandstone.
Sandstone can have a lot of variation as it's made up of other types of rock, being a Clastic rock. Probably feldspar or quartz in this case as other have mentioned due to the colour.![]()
