Destiny 2: PC graphics benchmark

I had issue with my Blizzard account weeks ago to played Overwatch on free weekend but there was no Play or Download buttons so just 3 Buy Now PC, PS4 and Xbox One buttons. I installed Blizzard app to played Overwatch on free weekend a year ago. Tried to updated Blizzard desktop app didn't helped so I uninstalled it and reinstalled Blizzard desktop app from link below finally fixed it showed Overwatch Download button to downloaded it and played it on free weekend.

Worth a try uninstall your Blizzard desktop app and reinstall again to see if Destiny 2 will show up on your account.

Make sure you have latest Blizzard Battle.net version 1.9.1.9526 and Blizzard Agent version 2.13.1.5857.

That's what they suggested in the last reply, Thankfully the fella read my whole web note this time and gave me a relevant answer so it's all good in the Blizzard World now. :)
It's in the process of downloading and installing Destiny 2 as I write, Cheer's.

I wish I had my gaming room decorated in new house to test this. I reckon my vega64 at 1810/1100 will get very close to that 1080ti at 1440p, will more than likely even match it.

I'm not going to say Vega64 is absolutely amazing but as long as it stays in between 1080 and 1080ti foe all benches, than that's some sweet gaming experience, that's all I'm concerned about for a year.

2 weeks without a PC now, it's killing me lol.

SlI is working great for me on this, if those benchmarks are correct, i'm getting nigh on 100% scaling and its soo smooth with g-sync. :)

Are you suggesting girls aren't into gaming? Sexist pig :p! My girlfriend is into it so I'm sure any kids we have will be lured into the hobby.

They're not priced too badly at the moment - £469 with Prey and Wolfenstien 2 for the Vega 64.

Does anyone actually buy reference blowers though? I just don't see the appeal.

It's good to see Vega doing well in a couple of new games, hopefully going forward it'll happen more and more. Unfortunately it means most will need to wait another generation or two for the technology tree to really start bearing fruit, as it were. Of course by that time who knows what nVidia will have released.

I thought Polaris was being replaced by a Vega based SKU??

Wii sports is about all I can get them to play. Mrs likes her soaps, so that is my game time and the kids owned horses, so that was their hobby. I would have loved them to get into games but no go :(

Not sure what that has to do with my post. I was initially surprised that Vega was going to make it into Raven Ridge since power efficiency figures suggested Polaris was actually better in that regard, but who knows, maybe they are going to have an all-Vega line-up by next year.

Because if they are releasing mainstream Vega cards and the APUs have Vega based GPUs(the XBox One X has Vega derived shaders and the PS4 PRO has the FP16 capability of Vega),surely that means there will be a push for these features sooner rather than later?
For example Wolfenstein II and FarCry 5 apparently use FP16(rapid packed math) already which surprised me TBH. Not to say Volta won't have any of these features either TBF.

Good results for Vega but I will pass on this game til it ends up in the cheap bin :)
Given Activision are ultimately responsible for its pricing that could be a about 5 years away! :/

Great to see Vega doing so well though... if they can further improve things via drivers then it may be the kick up the ass the graphics card situation needs to make things more compeitive... and ultimately mean better value for us suckers who still "do" pc gaming!

Don't forget GN turned down some settings in order to balance things up a bit in Destiny 2. At maximum settings our lead over the 1080 is pretty substantial.

You can expect to see this more often in games going forward, look at what happened in the past, it will happen again. :)
Unfortunately for you it means my Fury pro is continuing to perform like a champ at 1440p. With the 2CUs open it's nipping at the standard 1070 in new games. No upgrade this gen..

Fury is still a great card and the only limitation of it is the video memory. In this title the video memory requirements are low, so even 4GB can run 4K at max settings comfortably.

Some people need a blower card due to the design of the PC, SFF builds for example, Then there's the watercoolers and those that can't wait an extra 4 weeks or so for non-reference versions, That's why they do only reference cards only on release, They know some people can't wait, Pascal's release was a great example of Nvidia screwing the consumer with their Founders tax, I had to mention that, sorry.

I'm surprised how well Vega 56/64 are doing at 1440p and 4k res, specially with this being an Nvidia title.

those results are BS.

I get 90 fps constant on a 1080 at 1440p res on the absolute highest settings. Whereas they say 75. my CPU only has 4 threads also. if i was running a ryzen or coffeelake it would be even higher.

I regret selling my Fury Tri-x.. If I still had it now I would be inclined to skip Vega as well.

If I could only get crossfire working my 2nd PC with 2x R9-290s would probably run this like a champ.

The only game Iv been satisfied with 4k performance was Doom when running Vulkan it averaging close 60 I'd say. Plenty good enough for me but generally I like to keep things running as fast as possible and 1440p is the sweet spot for this card I think. So long as it stays that way I'll keep running this card :)

Can't really compare your score's to there really. There is no in game benchmark so they are repeating the same sequence in the actual game itself to get the numbers. Not to mention so many other factors at play.

Why would you lie? It's not cool to lie over the Internet.. They is enough footage out there to prove that you are indeed lying.

Hell I even watched Level cap streaming other night @1440p maxed settings with a TitanXP and was dropping down into the 50fps in very demanding condition.

Guess you benching looking at the sky lol
