Wolfenstien 2 Vulkan benchmarks:

Surprised to see 1080 Ti still hold performance king in all resolutions.

How really very embarrassed to see what Rapid Packed Math can do to games, absolutely useless and massive waste of time. What a failure.

Look like big poor Vega for a AMD sponsored Vulkan title RTG used most advanced and very expensive newer utter useless technologies like HBM2, HBCC, Rapid Packed Math, Deferred Renderer, Primitive Binning etc that would still not able to outperformed big Pascal in 2017 and upcoming little Volta and big Volta in 2018. :o

Aaaand SandyPants1800 chimes in again. Too bad you are running a 1070 and are irrelevant eh?

You OK now?

You have to take the good and the bad, poorer performance in games is just as useful to forum members as better performance in games. Good or bad it's just as interesting as the "Vega rocks" threads.

Yup, completely useless, what a complete and utter fail.

At the end of the day all that matters is no matter the GPU you running the game performs well! For me Vulkan running better on Nvidia or Better on AMD is only part of the story.. I want Vulkan to be successful for bigger reasons than just GPU Brand Wars :D Vulkan APi is the only big API we have that can challenge Microsoft and push they to make Windows DirectX better.. Vulkan API also opens the door for more Operating systems IE Linux No longer tied to Microsoft for gaming.

GameGPU tested it and saw a win for AMD:

Results seem to vary quite a bit.

So in 4 areas tested,Vega64 seems to edge the GTX1080 in three of them and in two of them is close to a GTX1080TI. In one area it looses.

However, even the Polaris cards loose in that one area,so there is something going on which affects all the AMD cards.

The 1080ti is close to a full spec card on the upper end of normal die size - the rest of the cards aren't - the 1070 would have been barely mid-range in any other generation. So unsurprisingly the 1080ti has some fair legs on it.

A win for AMD?
Really? Cuz I see an Nvidia card at the top of that chart, well, all of the charts.

Wait,wut?? Its winning over a GTX1080.

Edit!!

I even posted this in the same post:

Emm,I have a GTX1080 myself but come on,how can you read that any other way??

So are we ignoring the 1080Ti now because it doesn't fit the results we want?

I don't see how it's a win to AMD when there's an Nvidia card at the top of the graph.

"it has to cost between this much and this much, have 8GB of RAM and have 64 in the name somewhere or it doesn't count"

Wut are you smoking?? I have a GTX1080 - or is everything for you a dork war??
