Is this hypothesis true,
So my example is Donald Trump:
He is labelled primarily as:
-Racist
-Homophobic
-Misogynistic
Now if you do any research at all in to his past or current views, there is far more evidence to prove the opposite of these claims, than the proposed. Not wanting to get in to the the dirt and grime of "he said she said".. the overarching question is prominent:
Is it true, that if the echo chamber is large enough.. Do unsubstantiated claims that play on the emotional few, become forever true, regardless of their legitimacy in reality?
This seems to be a something that should be analysed and preemptively actioned by people who actually want to make a difference. Be it a clear and concise manifesto; that justifies its claims prior to questioning, or the self control of the person wanting to make a change, to purposefully censor their views as to not create a negative image of ones self.
The idea loses ground when talking about a group or organisation such as feminists or MGTOW, as there are people who have varying views and take abhorrent action on both sides.
Trump won yes, but he lost because nothing he does will be taken seriously and anything regardless of how pro-active or good it may be, will be shouted down by the mob of reverberators.
Just a PS. I am not a Trump supporter, i don't care about what he said or didn't say, i used him as an example. I am aware that the negative self-image he has is primarily created through his use of social media.. and to stir up passion or anger to divide the nation.
