Heya

Am a bit worried as the 'tall/dark/handsome' aspects of males seems to be what women go for... How do you compete as a ruddy skinned fella in todays age? I am still quite young but look like a cross between Les Batersby and Bill Clinton in the skin stakes? Any girls find this attrctive or am I always playing second fidde to hot tanned guys? What do you reckon?

Learn to be funny and charming and most girls will over look any physical nastiness (so long as you don't look like the elephant man).
 
Here's a step by step guide (that I wrote myself) to getting girls regardless of skin complexion:

1. Don't ever use the greeting 'Heya'.
 
Well it's not an attractive attribute same as on women - blemishless skin is appealing. But it's only one of many qualities that are or are not attractive. Height, weight, hair, well-dressed, humour, confidence, wealth, loyalty, ability, authority, fitness, willingness to actually ask someone out (so many men who should, don't)... It's a long list and varies by person.

People tend to focus on the negatives about themselves. Not only ignoring their positive traits, but seeing the negative ones as even more negative than they really are. So you have a negative, doesn't mean you can't have a dozen positives. Don't let it destroy your confidence. What people really look for in a partner, most of the time, is someone who makes them feel the way they want to feel. Attractive, loved, safe, respected, trusted, sexually exhausted, whatever. Figure out what someone wants to feel and then ask yourself if blotchy skin stops you doing that. If not, have fun.

Everyone has something negative about themselves they could allow to stop them if they let it.
 
Forever ruddy alone.

It means he is a ginger. With white skin and blotchy red areas.
 
Keep away from women, they are going through a sue and get compo phase at the moment, and even if you look like you fell asleep on a sun bed, your dosh is as good as anyone else's. For God's sake don't brush a knee or suggest how best to keep extremities warm this winter!
