Call Of Duty WW2 Benchmarks

Has AMD got a COD WWII driver out yet? I just wonder as HBCC seems to be having the opposite effect here, But maybe that's because it doesn't actually need the extra memory and is doing extra work for nothing, It's just a guess.

Has it got an actual benchmark this time or is it a timed run?

Thinking the same, amd normally does quite well with the cod games

I've been reading your previous posts and i see trend. Out of interest would you have posted this same thread had the results been the other way around?

BTW with the new AMD game ready driver those 1440p are likely to change the pecking orders of the 64, 56 and gtx 1080.
And you can get more gains by overclocking the the 1080 than you can the vega 64. Tbh all these threads are pointless as they show the 1080 and the 64 sparring and the ti some way clear of the pack. Some games slightly favour the 1080 and some games the 64.

The soon to be replaced Pascal is however way ahead if one includes the ti.

Don't worry about it or else you would write that same 1st paragraph many times a day only more so for Amd threads ;)

Not a bad showing for Vega considering it's not using a next-gen API/using any of its features :)
Exactly what i was thinking on this engine.

Apparently it's best to disable SMT on this game for best results, but i have not tested this yet myself waiting for my key.

It doesn't feel like that long ago they released Infinite Warfare and like you said AMD GPU's had a good lead over Nvidia's in that, I should play that before this but I like the non futuristic direction of this plus I'm hoping the WW2 campaign's up there with the best.

This is very debatable. Depending on your cooling I think Vega will gain more from overclocking/tweaking. Joker gained 10% just from moving the power slider from 0 to 50% on a 56. Once tweaked Vega gains a lot.

Nice

@shankly1985 Do you know if their has been a general performance uplift yet with Vega, as it's had a few driver releases now? Just curious.

I honestly not sure unless I go back some drivers and re-bench a game etc What I do know is driver bugs have been sorted for me. For example on first release I couldn't keep my Memory at 945 speed and after the next driver release that was fixed.
I can Really only speak about day one performance in the latest titles that I own and I couldn't be any happier with VEGA performance.

Would make sense for them to focus on bugs first then performance later tbh. Ok thanks, was just wondering tbh.

Oh look it's the cherry picker !

Ay? Its a fair One to One! Part of the Game tested! Even with VEGA poor out of the Box drivers! Tweak VEGA here and it will do even better :p

I would rather use this footage than them lame sites posted in OP You get to see what is really happening with actual footage. :D

I feel when Crimson Relive Redux edition drops sometime this month or next we will see a performance boost.
