Can't work out why they compared the latest nvidia cards against the eol fury x and even the 480 has been replaced by the 580

Agreed! Seeing the 1060 is faster than the 980ti Generation leap. You expect the 1060 to beat the FuryX.

The FuryX and 980Ti was that Gen competition. 1060 is the 480/580 competition.

So not sure why @Muhammad.Abdelhameed is jumping for the sky over this result lol

Same as all AMD benches against a 1080 where it should be a 1080Ti.

Comparing:

1) Fury X Jun 2015 to 1080 May 2016

or

2) 1080Ti Mar 2017 to Vega Aug 2017

I see no difference..

I see no difference as same timescale.

The 1080ti is sorta in a league of it's own as the elite. It's going to win almost everything but with a price tag to reflect that performance.

Its not that much £ more than some Vega 64 models at launch and its over 1 year older, cooler and uses less voltage so IMO that is some going over a new launched rival card but its still the top card vs top card (if you do not count Titan X's) which some may and entitled to do so.

The 1080ti only came out in March of this year so not a year older. The Titan Pascal is a year older but you had to pay £1100 for the pleasure.

Except that 980Ti is not slower than 1060, it's th e same speed as 1070 in this game, and these results confirm the results of other sites, like Guru3d for example.

I have to say, the graphics aren't too bad and the facial quality is excellent, but it runs like dogs poo at the moment due to a stutter observed every few seconds.

No comparison to Wolfenstein optimisation here unfortunately.

But Wolf 2 had very bad character designs, bad facial animation and cloth, next to nothing environmental destruction, and mostly closed levels. It also sacrifices a lot of polygons for most 3d objects. It runs well because it' simulation is limited in nature. Just like Doom.
