Xbox One X

I've been playing on mine since 2pm today and it's awesome, not heard a peep out of it and all games I've played have loaded quick, better frame rate and look nicer.

Quick question though, I'm transferring all my stuff from the old Xbox to the new one. Both via 5ghz WiFi but it's taking ages. If I put them both into standby will they carry on transferring?
 
Got the Scorpio Edition, anyhow the console turns itself off randomly after say 10-30 secs. Sometimes won't even get through boot. Gutted, called MS and they're sending a replacement. My Luck. :p

Why is it a bad choice of games to compare? it's one of the games that MS were pushing as a 'featured' title to show off the X performance. There are 6 games listed by MS as featured X enhanced games: Forza 7, Assassins Creed, GOW 4, Shadow of War, Titanfall 2 and Tomb Raider. I have all of them and think I've covered them all in previous posts.

Because in general and DF have confirmed it now it’s pretty much the same across the platforms.

It seems from reading around that it’s all the Project Scorpio editions that are failing.

I know it's always the case with tech that something is better around the corner but that pretty much kills it for me. I mean, it would have to be a hell of a leap over the X to really be 'next gen' and I prefer to have a bit longer life with consoles.
 
Some people seem to be getting a few hours or so and then it shuts down and some seem to be dead on start-up while being fine the day before. Seems non Scorpios are also affected August built models some are saying seem iffy.
 
Admit i am a bit interested in this i liked the 360 experience more than the ps4 but the ps4 has games i cant get on the pc

cant justify the price because of lack of exclusives i can get all of them on my pc and i only have a 1080p tv

not saying it is expensive for what you get just to much money for something i can already do on my pc

looks a good bit of kit maybe when the price comes down or decent game bundles arrive
