New Aston Martin Vantage

A fab looking thing by and large, think some of the detailing could be improve a little (stamped grills surrounding the exhausts look a bit cheap, and the front grill looks a bit too 'open'), but overall its a fantastic looking thing. Don't forget there is likely to be a Vantage 'S' at some point, where these things can be improved. The basic shape makes it one of the best looking new cars I've seen in a long time though.

Interior - few too many buttons perhaps, and like Housey I wish the wheel was actually round, but I'm sure it will be very luxurious with some fine

The horrible bright yellow car used for the unveil is a massive mistake though, like that baby blue DB11 (with vile interior) that they had the press demonstrator in. Aston have some fantastic colours, but their latest models do seem very colour sensitive.

the puke green colour makes it look odd, but it's actually not bad looking.

Looks like a lovechild between a F Type, Mx5 and Coquette from GTA5. The front end doesn't work, looks very tame, rest of the design is nice.

I find a lot of modern car design very derivative and uninspiring. But maybe its a sign of me getting old...

I don't think they bothered spraying the prototype, it is a matt black colour

Not a fan at all and I love the previous model.

I'm sure its target market will love it though.

Its a nice looking car, my votes for a traditional AM grille on the front rather than the one that looks like it came off a cooker hood.

Needs to look like it belongs there, rather than an afterthought. Needs a plinth of sorts to look right.

I have been waiting for this car for the past 2 years, and overall I feel they've delivered what I was hoping for. I'll be placing my order for a Zaffre blue one, or possibly morning frost white depending on how it looks. I've always loved my Aston Martins, and this will be a perfect pairing with my GT4.

Good on you, hope you enjoy it! I almost bought a '07 Vantage a few years ago but chickened it and bought something more reliable and economical, boring I know.

They had to do something different with the front grill since Ford 'borrowed' it and stuck it on everything, watering down the look somewhat. Every time I see a new Ford I think, shame on you AM.

I really like it and if I had £120000 I'd be tempted, especially with the noise it makes. I do drive an 8th gen Civic so I may not be the best judge
