I'm tempted as I can't find a 27" monitor with the same features for anywhere near this price.

Messing about with the tape measure on my desk suggests it'll be too big for how far away I'm sat though :(
I can totally relate, as I'm ideally after a 27" IPS 1440p. I found a 27" benq 2765ht but it doesn't have freesync and it's £69 over this Aoc. I too measured up with a tape measure lol, I sit about 2.5ft away.

3feet /arms length to touch screen?, Push it back a bit to wall like I did on a 27"
I have an overhead shelf which limits how far back I can push it, by my calculations I'll be 2ft away, as the current 24" sits under shelf. Can't be arsed to raise shelf

I'm about an arm's length away and not able to push a monitor back any further.

Come on AOC - drop a 27" version of this at a similar price.

Under the hot sun.
Is this a 60hz or 75hz monitor? Because there are conflicting reports.
Is stated as 60hz monitor but Freesync is working 48-75. Also seems is coming with HDMI 1.4 not 2.0b so no Freesync over HDMI?

Yeah bit weird aobut 60/75hz. As for Freesync, well I will be using freesync with display port for the gaming rig, and for HTPC then DVI at 75hz, so that's all I need.

On the amd website http://www.amd.com/en/products/freesync-monitors

It states freesync 48-75hz via display port and hdmi, just no LFC support. They wouldn't need to use hdmi2 for 1440p 75hz.
