Want to order tomorrow. Which one?

Was set on Asus before saw pricedrop on the Gigabyte.

ALL my PC's have been Asus mobos since I started building.

In terms of features I 'may' use the onboard high current pump header on the Asus one day in my loop.

Not bothered about Wi-fi or on-board sound quality as external headphone amp for that.

Not too arsed on RGB gonna set all lights to white most likely

Want best overclocking for 8600K

Ta

I would go for the G7 as you have awesome customer support should you need it.

Its that bit cheaper and you can get a STEAM voucher till the 30th of this month (unless thats changed).

Plus the board has some strong power circuitry and cooling should you need it for overclocking, theres a huge thread here - http://www.overclock.net/t/1638955/z370-z390-vrm-discussion-thread/1160 - about it all and the pros all seem to think the G7 is rather well designed for this.

Worth noting, if you purchase an Asus motherboard or graphics card through Overclockers UK, they will deal with the RMA for you within 48hr of receiving your confirmed faulty Asus VGA product back with them for the complete 3yr warranty period.

Thanks I went for the Maximus in the end as it has water cooling support. Also if you look at many reviews of the G7, while technically a great board there is something that implies it's performance trails for some reason and it spooked me a bit.

Only problem is if your not happy with any reseller evaluation , you can do nothing about it as Asus won't get involved . Unlike Gigabyte who'll look into it .

Ocuk offer service that Asus Distributors do, which is great, but Asus wash their hands of it

Really? I've RMA'd my entire swift monitor directly with Asus and they we're pretty good to be fair. Not as slick as Corsair but not bad.

edit: board looks great in person:)
