Paperclips

The silly thing is that you don't even need to click, even when it seems like you have to. You just need to click on the button once, and then press and hold down the Enter key and it keeps going for you :)
grrrrrrrrrrr

wish i'd seen this earlier!!! 300 million clips atm

Increase hazard value to five, and you'll have fewer drifters.

Then increase combat value to 8 and you will annihilate them in combat.

You need about 8 combat to begin with, but if you can get the ratio of your ships to drifters big enough you can drop to 3 combat and still win just by pure numbers.

Its amazing how much effort went into that level of the game tbh

Finally completed it :D

I thought I was beating the drifters at the end game, then they suddenly wiped me out with nothing left.

Now I have one paperclip in a new universe :(

How on earth did you get 60 probe trust? Where'd you get all the yomi!? At best i've managed about 35 before acheiving universal clippage

Mate, I had so much yomi, it was coming out my yoni. :p

I upgraded the strategy engine as fast as possible, set it on GREEDY, switched on auto-tournament, and let it run (I unlocked all the other strategies, but GREEDY worked best for me so I just left it on that). Once I reached my first 1 million yomi, I could do whatever I wanted.

By the time I had >1,600 processors and >1,000 memory, my operations pool was >500,000, and filling much faster than the tournaments could drain it.

can't even remember what I finished with on processors and memory....

Same strat i used, but never got more than ~200 cpu/memory slots and 35 probe trust before i've eaten the whole universe :D

meh im a bit lost got paperclips being made like mad but its like i should have another level or somthing but not there :(

There's a few flat spots where it feels like nothing is ever going to happen, but stick with it. Leave the game overnight if necessary.

What the hell is this "game"?

It seems totally pointless.

And why can I not close it down and stop "playing" it?!?!

If the window is closed it will stop playing, however it will continue from the point you closed the window.

It was an exeriment by a guy who wanted to learn and play with some java script over the weekend, but ended up pulling him into it for 9 months or something :P
