Mags is such fun as a contributing member that as a moderator we would lose a valuable essence of the forum.

Every moderator who has moved from being an active, enlightening and interesting member has become more considered and grey in their outlook over time.

Mags will find no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in becoming a moderator, merely a millstone.

The best parallel I can draw on is when a work colleague and friend becomes a manager. The relationship always changes no matter how hard you try to avoid it.
