How do McDonald's make their burgers

I’d rather just go to McDonalds tbh. Even better, go BK and get a long pepperoni, nuggets, fries and a drink for a fiver. The Long Pepperoni is actually very tasty.

Make the burgers thinner than you think you should (probably about 5-8mm) then freeze them between two sheets of grease proof paper. Don't add anything at all, just use mince.

Cook straight from frozen on a griddle or frying pan with just salt and pepper.

now 25 yrs or so ago I worked at a mc d's as a shift runner .. if you take a qtr pounder and an 1/10 and put them both under the clamshell grill it comes out as the best burger you will ever have
it's like a solid steak burger add to that 6 nuggets lrg fries and a lrg coffe hot choc mix and that's what kept you going on a 10 hr shift 6 days a week ..
well that and a bag of p-het and a few joints

This posts validates every preconception I have about McDonalds employees.

What's a 1/10?

Not sure why you posted those. They agree with what I said that they do not rot.

They actually say that hype about the burger experiment is BS, worse than that, bad science.

But it makes an easy smear since people generally didn't actually know what a burger does when you cook it then leave it lying around.

I just threw, mince an onion, a small amount of chopped tomatoes and some seasoning in the blender, made an ultra patty paste, Problem is too much water content due to tomatoes and onions. Ideally need to dry it out. I suppose the oven would be the best bet. Also fried the burger in oil in the pan, again more fat. Just too much liquid. That's what got me thinking about McD's. Which I quite enjoy btw. Nice charred BBQ taste to them.
Lol oh dear tomatoes in a beef burger?? What kind of monster are you??

Jesus wept:p

Did I say I was a chef?
No but you sure as hell don’t put tomatoes into a beef patty lol.

I’m no chef and even I know that. First of all it would probably taste disgusting, second of all it’s not going to hold the patty together lol.

I actually really like McDonalds and Burger King burgers. If I could recreate them at home I would :o. Also the buns they use add to the taste i think, normal bread rolls just aren't the same.

I do prefer a good 'proper' burger, but sometimes I just crave for fastfood.

I simply buy some 500g of Beef mince (not the low fat stuff) and I make it into 4 balls. Squash them flat onto a hot pan, add salt and pepper and then flip and serve. Never crumble for me.
