PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

its actually lower.than previously.also as i said previously all fps games have a 10-12 percent player base who cheat. on pc there is roughly 20 million give or take.then work out the bans.its just inline with battlefield and cod percentage wise.

its not as bad as many make out.

Evidence? Everyone else seems to be seeing more cheaters

I'd honestly say in around 650 hours on PUBG since day one, I've seen/come across 5 or 6 cheaters. People seem to be coming across them every other game or at least claiming to find them.

I think people are just claiming cheaters etc - but in reality they are getting killed by lucky shots/better players. The obvious cheaters are the instant headshots from miles away/shotgun kills from 200/300 yards away etc.

read article.they have two anticheats running now.since implementing it cheating has dropped.they will announce more about this in the future.

could be pr bs but thats the company behind the game vs raging headshoted guy on pubg with no info.

Inven: Many innocent players suffer from cheaters who almost seem to be conscienceless. Of course, it’s nearly impossible to get rid of hacks completely, but it’s also the developer’s duty to ban them as much as possible. How will you do so?

CH Kim:
We had a talk about this with Tencent, the publisher of the service in China, and they said that it will be an everlasting fight. Like you said, it’s impossible to eliminate hacks completely. However, we’ve put so much effort into banning cheaters, and the number of cheaters after the launch of the 1.0 version has dropped significantly as a result. We can see the drop in the number of cheaters and we’ll share the data with the community in the near future.

A few examples from when I last played on the 2nd

Got a few more videos (on the 2nd) and I've still got some more replays to go through, there were also multiple cheating in the 2nd match (2nd video)

And many are saying its gone back up again since that article, which I would agree with.

BTW that blatant ESP guy I reported a week ago is still playing. The system doesn't work.

Had an annoying one earlier, playing solo (not duo or squads!) riding a bike across one of the bridges from the military base on erangel and there are three people on the bridge all standing together who open fire on me.

Managed to run one over but the other two got me. Watching the death cam they are clearly teaming and working together wondering around and looting together.

Reported it under teaming but doubt anything will happen, even though it was as clear as day.

Teaming happens a lot. I was in a solo today and people were openly discussing teaming up over the in game chat!

I have this coming for free with the Xbox one X i've ordered, so if it runs well enough I'll more than likely switch to the Xbox version.

At least there's far less chance of wall hacks, aimbots, rapid fire binds for single fire guns etc. Granted stuff like teaming is harder to stop, but hacks will be far, far less common. Plus the fact everyone is running it on same hardware with no settings tweak able too so it levels the playing field even further

In the early days, I hardly came across any cheaters, maybe 2 or 3 in a hundred hours of gameplay, that's even when our team rank was really high. Since 1.0 its been far more common, so I doubt they are doing more.

Yeah but no mouse and keyboard and having to play with a controller.......ergh!!!
That's worse than no game!

lol and not to mention the fact that virtually everyone on the top of the leaderboards is cheating. 76% headshot kill rate, ya - good luck with that. Just as an example, shroud is widely regarded as the #1 player in PUBG and has a 28% headshot rate. And that is just tracking the players stupid enough to have their aimbot always aim for the head instead of the whole body. PUBG is completely infested with cheaters and those two anti-cheat systems Bluehole has in play are low quality.

Oh I don't mind really, quite happily play tps/fps games on console all the time.

I only really keep my pc going to play exclusive games now. Everything else i generally go console, especially multiplayer as I know 99% of people are on a level playing field, and the consoles being locked down means pretty much no hacks other than maybe those Xim devices that allow k/b & mouse, but they are few and far between and don't always translate mouse movement that well on the games.

Anyone down for a few rounds now? US servers if you please...

Warning, I am not very good, or particularly serious. Down mainly for banter :D
