she is contracted to "work" in those 6 weeks as she will be receiving her salary. She just happens to not be in school at that time. If her pay stopped for those 6 weeks, you might have an argument, sorry chap.
This doesn't make sense to me.
We are not contracted to work during these weeks. But pay is paid pro rata. So yes we do get paid on those weeks but not actually contracted to work at all. Not that it stops the fact we still work -.-
Contracts are 39/52 weeks.
