January Transfer Window 2017/18

When’s it been awarded now, or second place? The point I was making - a fairly simple one to grasp I thought - was that you’re currently second but are on trend to not be. The chasing pack have been catching you and are on trend to overtake in the near future.

Yes believe me Moses, we all know what "point you're trying to make"

You sound like an Arsenal fan "Oh well we won the league if you only take into account this period of games"

When’s it been awarded now, or second place?

I don't even know what that is supposed to mean, it isn't English.

Geezus a hell no to Mhiki, he’s not a player we need or require :/.

Arsenal need to stand firm and tell other teams to go do one if they are trying to offload their useless players on us.

When Sanchez and Ozil are gone he's easily better than what we have on the wing / behind the striker and if we can get decent money and him then we'd be stupid to turn it down.

Quite the opposite. You’re the one saying you’re the second best team because the snapshot of the top of the table has you there... I’m wanting you to take into account the rest of the season.

Yes I'm taking into account the actual games played rather than the imaginary games you've played in your head.

Mkhitaryan could do well else where, hardly the first person to fail under him and succeed after moving on. Certainly more beneficial than money for Arsenal imo

MEN are reporting City have officially withdrawn from the Sanchez race but Chelsea are making a late bid now... hopefully a wind up.

Others journalists reporting the same now too, but it appears City have told them that (based on what is being said), so it could well be dodgy information.

It's quite odd how people see us as some sort of monumental downgrade to rival teams. The reality is, current squad aside, we are anything but. We have a promising squad in need of improvement certainly, the history, the stadium, and are arguably the biggest brand club football has ever seen. I think most footballers would love to play for Mourinho despite how fans may perceive him at times (myself included). We are not some sort of low rent team despite some efforts to portray us as such.

I don’t see united as that at all, which is why I find it so odd they are acting so bloody desperate again. They are a huge team and acting like Chelsea when they first got money. There’s no need for such a club you describe to spend all that cash on a player that wants to play for city. It should be more than money for him and his agent to get him on side.

There’s no reason or value in moving for him now.

Don’t agree with the Jose bit though, I’ve been a huge fan over the years but 2018 spec Jose I really wouldn’t want to play for. He’s a huge **** and plays **** football.

Yep sky sports confirming that City have ended their interest in Sanchez citing that signing him would make it too expensive lol just lol. City actually saying they can’t afford him after splurging so much money in the past couple of seasons:p.

Wonder how Utd feel now that Sanchez made it very clear that City was his first choice. Do they really want a player that does not want to be at Utd??

It’s evident that if he goes to Utd it’s only for the money.

I do wonder what will happen now?? Will he stay at Arsenal till the summer then he can go City as he prefers or will he be sold to Utd?? Either way we lose him whether we get any money for him or not, would be ideal if we get some money for him though. But as Wenger said not too long ago, it doesn’t make a difference if we get £30mill or 1p lol.

Alexis Sanchez: Man City end pursuit of Arsenal forward
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42697824

Seems like this will be over the line if Chelsea don't cause any problems (doubt it really).

Man City pull out of race to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, based on current numbers demanded by #AFC + AS. #MCFC believe they were 1st choice but that Man U offering package higher than City would’ve paid in £60m deal last summer. TWIST City think Chelsea #CFC rivalling #MUFC

As I suspected, City have told the press they think Chelsea are interested.
