So this made me laugh and scratch my head at the same time.

Seems like 4 camels in Saudi Arabia were disqualified from a camel beauty contest due to being injected with Botox to enhance their pout....WTF??

First of all a beauty contest for camels and secondly injecting them with Botox?? Whatever next

This is so much weirder than breeding cats and dogs to the point where they suffer from health problems to win against other unhealthy cats/dogs or putting makeup on young girls and having them compete in beauty in some sort of pageant.

Oh wait, no its not.

Why cant these Saudis do something normal, like shaving every hair on your body, roiding up, hitting weights every day, then dehydrating yourself and dropping body fat to dangerous levels just before bronzing up and flexing your giant cloud like body to judges for a 'Mr' title

yeah but they're camels, they're gonna be ugly no matter what you do.

if you bred a camel to the point that it was an aesthetically pleasing animal then it wouldn't be a camel any more

Have you seen the kind of guys you get winning Mr Olympia or Mr Universe these days?

They dont look like Arnie (except for that one guy who did but that was novelty win

)and honestly, Arnie may be a symbol for gym junkies and stuff but he was stacked to the point where it was silly and i personally would not roid to achieve that let alone put in the hard work, diet and time.

I dont think they are breeding camels to be attractive but rather meet the criteria that judges will score higher on. There are always fashion trends for shows like these and so this stuff can change quite a lot.
