GPU prices go boom

I can't see how people are thinking that even £474 is a good price? Its a mid range card for gods sake! The whole world has gone mad.....!!!

I have 10 1070ti paid £469-479 and very happy with them. I wonder how long it would take a gamer to invest that much into the market? Decade at least..

Exactly, I have a 1080 that I use in a gaming machine and that cant touch the 1070 Ti for mining.

In what world is the 1070 TI a mid range card? Overclocked it's on par with the 1080 benchmark wise and at £440, considerably cheaper. Mid range is 1060 I'd say...

Sad but unfortunately true. This is what the world has ultimately become has anyone ever seen the 1976 film called Network?

Doesn't make a major difference unless Nvidia and AMD produce more chips. They don't profit from retailers marking up prices, only from selling the GPUs to board partners.
