Commonwealth is fine, it doesn't impose itself and dictate terms to it's members

There are certain principles that members should/ have to follow and few countries have been expelled for breaking them in the past. So you could say that it does impose itself and dictate terms to it's members.

Well, that's the UK for you. Bear in mind that Commonwealth Day used to be called Empire Day.

Honestly where some of these countries would be without having shared the wealth and knowledge of the commonwealth doesn't bear thinking about.

We / they certainly should be celebrating it (especially Australia ), but then people are ungrateful and narrow minded.
