PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Yeah the scheduling seems a little random. First thing I notice is my games not scoring any ranking points.

First game last night and got 2nd. Final guy HS me with a Kar even with a lvl 3 helmet which I am pretty sure was on full health (need to go back and watch replay to be sure although not sure it would show vest/helmet damage).

I must hold the record for no chicken dinners. 110 hours played on Solo FPP and always the bridesmaid never the bride.

Even with a 1hp a level 3 helmet should defend from a 1 shot head shot from a Kar98k.

Always the bridesmaid never the bride hahaha :D

I feel your pain, probably put in the same amount of hours and also lacking a chicken dinner. Just can't seem to pull myself over the finishing line, but, I shall persist.
 
My best was a 14 kill CD, had a duo 9 kills each before too :D

Flash Hider M4 with angled foregrip and 4x scope.
686 or silenced UMP/UZI as secondary.
 
not winning and coming in close often is down to not pushing yourself enough for the win.bad positioning for the final circle. or just bad luck which all of us will get at some point.

always try and find the best cover to push to or somekind of ground deviation to hide in enough to cover.choose shots on people.

had a nice solo win last night but placed 2nd a few times aswell.which is annoying.

Looks like a normal weapon until you pick it up, then you see it with skin when holding it. At least I think that's how it worked on that 1 SCAR I picked up yesterday to test :/
 
Yup, when you pick up the weapon (that hasn't been picked up) it then gets the skin applied. If you drop it and someone else picks it up it keeps the skin from when it was first picked up. When it's on the floor it just shows the default skin for that weapon (similar to how clothes all look the same but they could be different colours etc once picked up).

A bit confused about the comments about keys, no keys are required to open the weapon skin crates? Or were people taking what was on the test server as what was being pushed to live?

basically in the new update on live you have got two new cases.triumph case and weapon skin cases.

you do need a new type of key for the new triumph case to open it. for the weapon skin cases you can just open normally.without a key.
 
Installed the Android PUBG, first game 8 kills and Chicken Dinner.
Playing on a platform where I have the superior rig over the vast majority for once makes a pleasant change.

I couldn't find the option to invert the Y axis but still managed to play a game. With 16 kills and a chicken dinner, I could tell it was against bots (I dream of getting 10 kills on the PC :)!).

Was a bad night last night, Think i spent 4hrs in game, fired 6 shots...... TOO MUCH LOOTING ended up going SOLO :)

That’s what kills the game for me, so much looting to get one shotted from nowhere.

Played a squad game last night, squad all dead within seconds, had nothing but a mini and a handful of rounds but played it through and got 10 kills. Taking out whole squads solo is great fun.
