Man ‘team-killed and virtually 'teabagged' female journalist during shocking in-game rampage

Utterly hilarious.

I dunno, it's pretty funny lol.

I laugh if I get teabagged. It's just a funny thing to taunt your opponent.

I agree, there’s some pretty toxic and immature stuff that goes on in online gaming, teabagging is generally goodnatured.

It’s practically tradition.

Yeah, i won't link them but i was watching some of the PUBG salty death videos (#2 in particular) and wow i can't understand how people can get that angry at all, let alone in a game.

I don't know if I'm impressed or disappointed that she didn't counter with the universally recognised response of calling him a noob, throwing in a racial or homophobic slur and then rage quitting.

Welcome to how men socialise and play together - if you don't like it, stick to playing with girlies.

...along with the oft used shout of "Bot!" when the person is better than you.

This is actually a really good point. A lot of boys play fight. I realised a while ago I also do it with my son. But my wife and daughter don't do it.

Was playing the FNB BF1 servers on Friday with DICE and EA reps. Friendly fire was on, much team killing and T-bagging ensued. It was funny.

Well my daughter boxes and does karate, we play fight all the time. Her mum isn't interested at all, I guess a generational thing but we didn't force anything on her, she just prefers rough and tumble to girly stuff.

We also play video games... I hope she doesn't fall foul of these toxic feminists one day

How true, hadn’t considered it until reading this.

In my experience men use banter and mocking as the main method of comradery.

I don’t see this anywhere near as much with women, they’re nicer generally, plenty are epic at good natured banter though.

It doesn’t do much for women when you’re trying to enter a male dominated industry and then throw your toys out of the pram because you were treated like one of the guys. You’d have garnered more respect in the industry, and from the internet if you had... taken it on the chin ;)

I tried play fighting with my daughter but she screamed at me to stop. I took her to Kuk Sool martial arts but she hated it. She loves The Sims and Minecraft where she can build things but hates other video games. My son, however, is a typical boy and loves shooting games, keeps trying to workout in my gym with me, loves helping me work on the house and car, etc. It's really interesting to watch them be so diverse and typical to their genders.

Women's reactions to video games over the years.

1980-2010 "Look at that manchild playing his video games!"
2010-2015 "I'm a gamer too! Give me attention!"
2015-Now "All video games are sexist and must be changed to suit me."

The last two are from feminists rather than women, and generally the louder ones. Who, sadly, are the ones who get the most power.

Back in the days before the web was so commonplace, I got some tips and help in games from an acquaintance's grandmother. She did a lot of gaming. She was retired, so she had a lot more spare time. She didn't politicise it - she was a gamer because she liked gaming. It was personal, not political.

to be fair though, she's a journalist. along w/ estate agents, taxi drivers and politicians, they all deserve to be killed and have their corpses desecrated.

A games firm has denied rumours that a male developer ‘virtually teabagged’ and ‘team-killed’ a female journalist whilst showing off its new game. Yesterday, the internet lit up after an unnamed games industry worker allegedly performed a simulated sex act on the digital corpse of a woman he slaughtered in cyberspace.

Amanda Farough, the journalist who identified herself as the victim of the teabagging, said she had been bombarded with ‘fat jokes, hateful “liberal woman” memes and ******** comments’ after sharing her heartbreaking story.

Really, Jasper Hailmill of the Metro? If this isn't an epic troll he really needs to go and get a real job in the real world
