What PC games are you playing?

I played Skyrim on Xbox 360 when it came out in 2011 and enjoyed it muchly. I bought it on PC recently, I've been looking forward to playing it again for many years. But after 10 minutes, I thought "Jeez, this is so boring!" Maybe after coming off The Witcher trilogy, I've been spoiled by that. I ended up deleting it after an hour and starting playing Batman: Arkham Asylum. Now that got me gripped and I had to use all my willpower to stop playing and go to bed last night.

Now in the middle of Arkham City. Not enjoying it as much as Asylum. :(

Be interested to hear what order others rate the Batman Arkham trilogy. Is Asylum the best one?

^ Asylum was something completely new at the time, and was also very focused which some preferred. City IMO was an improvement in many ways, particularly the larger area when combined with the grapnel boost.

I also have a soft spot for Origins. Although the characters were weaker, the map was well realised and this was the peak of the combat system for me.

Arkham Knight -whilst still worth playing - suffers from trying to shoehorn in the Batmobile too often, plus has some contrived elements.

Therefore my preference is City > Asylum > Origins > Knight.

City was my favorite as its like the first but just improves on everything for me, knight was very good but so much changed.

Too tough of a decision for me. Easily my favourite games series.

Asylum - as said above, first time a game like this had be done so it was pretty mind blowing back then.....
City - improved upon first game in every way
Origins - much like city and so was disappointing at first but going back to it second time, it was a lot more impressive (probably the best for boss fights/battles)
Knight - huge improvement over previous games in terms of the graphics, mechanics, combat etc. (only downsides for me was the overuse of the batmobile and poor boss battles)

I find it hard choosing which one had the best story/plot!

That's a good point Nexus18, it was my second playthrough of Origins that was more enjoyable too. I replayed the three older games while waiting for AK to be fixed, and the boss battles in Origins were head and shoulders above the remaining games.

I don't replay many games, but have played AA 3 times and AC and AO twice. I'm not sure I'll do the same with AK.

Had a cracking session with Vampyr tonight - went seeking a location for one of the side missions and ended up getting side tracked, going on a crazy exploration adventure and then getting lost for a while trying to find my way back. The level design of the streets of London and the exploration, sprinkled with the occasional NPC to interact with and enemies to fight is really great. I can't understand why this is more highly rated by the reviewers. I think this is going to be 2018s Prey in that respect.

Playing through Stalker with the Misery 2.2 mod. Thanks to the guys that suggested it in the thread I made. Its an amazing mod and I can't stop playing. So much more depth to the gameplay and a real challenge.

It took a bit to get into and I actually uninstalled it at one point, but glad i stuck with it as its rekindled my love of the series. Hopefully I can get to the end without a game breaking bug or anything like I had with the complete mod. I have yet to fully complete Call of Pripyat.

Taking a break from Tekken and around 40h into Nier 100% run. Nearing Route B with 72% of quests done (great addition to the story), upgrading all the weapons for weapons stories and secret bosses/areas. Currently rocking the Engine Blade from FFXV at lv.4, gives Noctis' blue warp effect to the dodges:p Doing DLC combat arenas (also some lore to be found there) along the way and completing the fishing encyclopaedia:p

I'm alternating this with GoW and Bloodborne on the PS4, quite a bit of fun with the three I'm having.

I think I'll take a good look at Vampyr after I'm done with the above, sounds like a decent game despite the reviews.

Original Watch Dogs and really enjoying it. Just had a hilarious moment where I was happily going about my simple single player business when someone started trying to hack me (human opponent - I didn't realise that it can integrate with single player). Straight away there's a suspicious car in the middle of the road so I shoot a window out but no one is in it. A a car moves like a human opponent so I put a few bullets in the windscreen and the car reverses at speed whilst I run away. 20 seconds pass and I'm being hacked again. 50%, 60%, 70% and I'm panicking. I've checked all the roads and no one is there. But wait! There's a train track above - so I sprint up to the track... 90% hacked... I spot a guy and he looks straight at me 95%... He bolts it having seen me see him... he runs straight into an oncoming train XD. Accidentally kills himself at 97% hack.

I do enjoy Ubisoft games - never buy one on launch so by the time I'm playing them they've been patched enough to be decent games haha!

Still on Far Cry 5, but the advent of a new 55" TV means I'm back to playing it on the XBox, rather than on my PC, and also Forza Horizon 3.

I'm tempted to give Far Cry 3 another run, but on the PC in glorious 1440P this time. I got stuck on the Doppelganger mission on PS3 and never bothered getting past it. I see it's on one of the CD key sites for £5.43 (GOG or Humble Bundle).

I think I've Batmanned myself out after Asylum and City so instead of playing Knight, I'm going for The Witcher 3. What a beautiful looking game it is.

That's next on my list, Witcher 3. I've only read good reports on here...although I only got about 20% of the way into the last Dragon Age before I lost interest.
