I received a popup message when signing into Steam the following day to say the incorrect ban had been revoked. I think this is quite rare for Steam to remove them as I believe they are permanent marks against your account which would have been unacceptable if they hadn't removed them. They aren't tied in directly to the ban in PUBG itself. I've not heard anything from PUBG itself apart from the ingame coinage.
The compensation is nice, but does not make up for the shock of being banned randomly and the potential of having my 12 year old Steam account permanently flagged as a cheaters account, or for the hurt of being accused of cheating when I've never cheated in any online game. No kidding it stressed me right out on a Sunday morning (Father's day, no less) when I was looking forward to some gaming time.
It may be an automated bureaucratic process for them, but being punished incorrectly for cheating, even if only temporary, is unacceptable, especially as it's normally impossible to appeal these things - the computer says you're banned, so you're banned, so your immediate thought is it's permanent.

Yeah just read up a bit more, not marketable lol. Deffo taking the **** now, they have apparently made 750 million from PUBG too.

being a bit precious and playing pubg, now that's a first!meh doesn't bother me, there's nothing particularily useful hidden behind the pass. they just know there'll be plenty of 'specials' willing to dump a 10 spot to get a funky parachute and hawaian short - so why the hell not offer it.

Forgive me, though, as I am sympathetic to your perceived plight. I can only imagine what an horrendous experience it was to find you had been banned from pubg, especially on Father’s Day.

Yeah you'll be fine, you can pretty much drop anywhere and get decent loot. The games are a lot faster too, so you spend much less time in one place. Means you're not punished as much for not knowing the layout etc

What exactly are the extra missions as found that part rather vague? I dont mind paying a tenner unless its just for crates, clothing etc which I am not bothered about.
