Confederate flags in the UK?

Or it could be that Christopher Wilson is the charity himself, needs £100 because he somehow got himself into a little bit of bother with his finances.

Or maybe not and he’s genuine about giving the money to a charity, which may or may not include discrimination against Muslims;):p.

While the official line is that it is about the north/south divide in the us most people who fly them do actually seem to dislike black people and believe slavery should be a thing again.... Albeit my sample size was somewhat limited. That said England had quite a part to play in the slave trade and I doubt everyone who flies an England flag is a racist, although they may well be.

The UK abolished slavery before the USA did, and it didn't even require a civil war.

Spot on, just giving a little lesson in life, if you call someone a liar be prepared to put your money where your mouth is, a donation to a registered charity of my choice by "gigabit" and I'll post the photo. In real life calling someone a liar with no basis in truth might cost a damn sight more than £100, which, let's face it, you could kick up from between the cracks in the cobbles given half an hour. The accuser is meanwhile a person of no integrity or substance IMO. I await him accepting the wager...

When I was a biker, 40 and more years ago, the symbols were common, painted on petrol tanks, worn on back of denim cutoffs. It was a sign of rebellion not pro slavery etc. ie **** the establishment.

Noticed on a Lynard Skynard set on telly last night they infurled it over the 'grey whistle test' backdrop, their TM was the American South though, good or bad.

Wow a life lesson by Christopher Wilson lol. No one will take u up on your ridiculous wager especially £100. Mainly due to the fact you could easily get a picture off google and say there’s my proof.

Pictures of various flags are ten a penny.

What you constantly have failed to provide is actual proof so far. Rather than putting your money where your mouth is, you have decided to flip it and try to extort money from someone claiming it will be donated to charity.

There’s a life lesson courtesy of me....and you are welcome :).

If you call somebody a liar, you don't need to pay them money. That's not a rule. You're a liar because you have form for lying - and you have provided no evidence to the contrary in this thread.

I call them as I see them - you are a liar.
 
My neighbours fly a skull and cross bones flag, say "shiver me timbers" a lot and have his & hers galleons moored outside.
 
Ol' Chris has spent more time posting outrage in this thread than he has providing evidence to support his original claim.

If Chris provides proof i will donate £100 to a charity of his choice. However, if anybody wants me to prove that i've donated the money they will first need to pay me £100. This is mainly because i'm a liar and will not be doing what i have said i will be doing. Hope this clarifies matters.
