This thread is peak GD.
Oh no no no, we can't possibly do that. Someone might get upset, and we can't have that. Everyone has to be equally contented, sorry I mean equally miserable. EQUALITY. So beautiful. This is what happens when you cater to whining little pussies. I really wish some people would grow a pair and tell them to shut the **** up.
I believe the reasons for that was simply to have a "more formal" uniform. The banning of shorts was not to "cater for transgenders" like this skirt bannage apparently is iirc. Was the banning of shorts about transexuals?

I certainly hope all uniform modifications are purely down to reasons such as "more or less formality", and certainly not to "cater" for particular people who may be offended or devastated by seeing some real female or even male legs. Are you sure all schools banned them for that reason?
Good Idea, It will also stop them slipping a cheeky finger behind the bike shed at lunch time.
This is more ridiculous:
"It comes alongside news that a leading private school is bringing in make-up experts to help pupils who feel anxious about their appearance"
should be teaching body acceptance not how to hide behind makeup

Yes or no will do.
Lmao you should have a go at questioning politicians you'd do well.
If you read my answer you would realise the answer is basically "I don't know".
So no. A yes or no will not "do" lol.
I don't know if ALL schools banned ALL shorts JUST because it's more formal. But if any schools did ban shorts for any transgender "catering" then that's stupid.
I mean the skirt ban. The thing you're raving about. Are you sure that all schools banned skirts to cater for transgender pupils?
Just allow shorts to be worn during the sumer months, job done.
Shorts are OPTIONAL?That is unfair to transitioning pupils who may be sensitive about their hairy legs![]()
Ah OK, well same logic applies....

This case can potentially set a precedent of banning skirts in other schools for silly "catering" reasons though. So it's not impossible for a considerable amount of schools to do the same.
It comes alongside news that a leading private school is bringing in make-up experts to help pupils who feel anxious about their appearance.
Uniformity through individualisation! Sensitivity through enrolment! But it's insensitive![]()
I edited my post for clarity but it doesn't matter.
Apparently, at Woodhey High School in Bury, "skirts have been banned because they can be “undignified and embarrassing” for staff and visitors when girls sit on the floor in assemblies and drama classes."
What do you think of that?
Yeah strong argument coming from the dude who's so desperate that he's assuming the only reason people would oppose this is because they are perverted. lol.
I think that the staff and visitors to that school are maybe a little sick.
No one commented on this? I know it's a private school and likely rich as hell, but really, they going to spend money to hire some make-up expert to teach their pupils on how to look good?
