Noob new build windows installation and drivers advice

Doesn't work with the ram me and buddy have, i tried it already on all settings safe fast or w/e.
The only solution will be some bios update for gigabyte boards or sadly buying completely new ram at £200+

Odd as had 3000/3200 running on B350 Gaming 3 and Strix . But then again x370/350 have been out with mature BIOS and still hitting higher ram speeds .
Just a shame as OP paid OCUK to get it running and stated fine at 3000hz :/

Will call them next week.

How did it go?

A bit disappointed to be honest. Memtest 86 was normal.

Was given option of RMA whole system.

Or

RMA Memory.

Technician suggested they could check if the motherboard does not have any issues - I don't think it does. And if normal then what? Send back to me with non overclocked RAM or pay extra for better ram? The RMA small writing states if no hardware errors found (which I've already checked) then it will be returned to me.

All this really needs is advice on what settings to put in. When I thought the memory issues were sorted I sold my old pc. I need my pc for work.

I did put a poor review in for the ram. Noticed it hasn't been accepted despite It being posted a week ago :o

What was your settings to achieve your speeds?

You can rma any thing you buy for a full refund within 28 days of purchase giving the reason that it was not compatible or bought in error. It is your right as a customer.
I can only get 2833 out of that team ram with 16 18 18 36 50 timings anything tightr and things go very weird in Windows and games freeze.
I would suggest running it like this, or rma and spend a little extra on some cl14 3200 ram
I am sorry for your problems this should be sorted by ocuk as it was then that charged you extra for a service not provided.
