There was qualifiers I think. But doc n shroud didn't have to.
I suppose Shroud, Doc, Ninja etc bring a lot of viewers so didn't have to qualify, I'd like to play with them!
I don't generally like esports, but this is really fun to watch. It's funny to see 160k watching the main stream and like 10 people in the arena audience.
Shroud is playing awful, its like he is throwing the games. He was using a VSS for one game for some reason. I am seeing what you all mean about him playing bad at lans, although i still don't think its because of hacks but have to admit i'm disappointed he is playing so bad. I mean I guess having a 40yo on the team doesn't help either lol.
What is with the Chinese girl wearing a dust mask? Is she a streamer?

Shroud is godly at reaction and accuracy, so much so often questioned him about cheating but he shows time and time again at lan in cs go that he is just that good. You are only as good as your team mates in this game. I only play duos and I can be good due to my team mate giving covering fire, good shouts, pick ups, smokes etc. He probably is just playing for fun tbh i'm sure he will never go pro again and why would he. Lots of fun and more money with what he is doing now.
i dont get how those people cant work out hes not that good at pubg ! thats why hes always pretty bad at lans because proper pros are playing it. not public, stream snipers. its hard to get this over to people who havent played competitive. its not public games like you watch in his streams.

They should do these streamer + pro mixed tournaments more often. The just pro version is a bit boring in comparison as I don't have a clue who any of them are, so don't know who to root for.
Well Ninja was a pro gamer and also came third in a pro Pubg event IIRC. Also Shroud almost wiped a team in the last match and was robbed by that nade.

a thing I noticed watching the streams earlier.....where has this notion that the doc is godlike with the kar98....watching him popping and shooting just in the general direction of the enemy made me realise, he ain't that good (before anyone starts giving it large i'm not saying i'm better than him)
you see all these montages of his wonder shots and think 'damn he's good' then you see him actually using it and it doesn't seem to match up. I guess though, you fire off enough shots you're bound to land eventually, fanboys (or his 'pr' team') clip them and share them out and you get this false view. amazing what a bit of decent pr can do.
there's folk on the OcUK discord are better and more accurate than him.

It’s certainly very strange how decidedly average some of these streamers look when at a lan as opposed to utterly godlike when streaming from home.
Someone above mentioned how much more different it is gaming at a lan as opposed to at home. That’s almost alluding to ‘stage fright’- that I do not buy, not in the slightest given the experience some of them have. Something like jet lag might be a more likely excuse. That or shenanigans!
DG explained it best. You are playing with so many top draw players vs the highlight reel of playing on public servers and stream snipers. The pro gamers are far more tactical. You cant afford to rock around underarmed, peeking the same place twice etc. I am sure if they started playing pro comps regularly they would
