McDonald's worker attacked, bystanders and colleagues do nothing.

That's why they have it in some cases but they shouldn't need it. You can kind of see it being required in pubs and clubs but not a bloody food outlet. It's nuts.

Where do you think all these people go after they leave pubs and clubs at night? to the nearest fast food place of course.

In city centers especially on late shifts they need security, for a normal restaurant I agree it's nuts but they wouldn't make it far past the doors in those cases, that's if they're even open.

On a Tuesday though?!

Looks like it was the supervisor taking a beating. Lol.

Scum gonna scum, who wants to risk a beating for nothing, don't get involved. I've learned my lessons, no point being a hero these days.

complete drunken scumbags, pumping iron in the gym all day and want to show they are hard men at night
hope they get what they deserve
fair play to anyone that steps in but no shame if they don't , you'll likely come off worse
if you're going to step in you need to know you can handle yourself

Yeah, but it's a food outlet catering to the exact same clientele who are visiting those pubs and clubs, because it's also open late and can serve them as they stagger home looking for junk food. A shame, but it's the price you pay if you decide you're going to cater for the same crowd :(

True, how many kebab shops have been trashed by drunk warring knobheads?

I'll be honest but there's no way I'd step in. The worker was big and looked like he could handle it. If they'd have got him on the floor then it would be more worrying. But I'm <6ft and <70kg so who am I kidding. I'd imagine that anyone stepping in would be putting themselves almost more at risk then the guy they're beating on. You'd enrage the morons even more and turn a scuffle into a hospital trip.

And seriously, why is that whole video out of focus?

EDIT: Their Dad was with them?

watching the pair of them i'd suggest they need to pump harder. they both landed a few, what appeared to be, decent shots but didn't really seem phase the big fella too seriously.
you're quite right though about the pumping iron and fake hardmen. i used to see it a lot in my younger days. lads knocking the dung out of themselves in the gym through the week - then out on a saturday night with a top on that was a size too small and thinking this made them hard men.
those pair will eventually walk onto a serious slap in the mouth - assuming this wasn't just a one off for them.

MY friend used to work at McDonalds head office (IT testing) and by all accounts they treat their employees really well. Don't know if that goes for restaurant staff but it'd be a nice PR coup if they give this guy some sort of reward. For someone being set upon by two drunken muppets he actually managed to get them out and essentially defuse the situation - as much as you can when they're intent on slapping you about the face!
