Geforce GTX1180/2080 Speculation thread

You sound *really* bitter. Although your first sentence does ring true.

No, not bitter, just not stupid enough to get fleeced, i like my 1070 dont get me wrong, its served me well, but i dont chase the top end GPU in any generation, last *Top end* gpu i had was a 290 at release and even that was not the best of the cards available.

I generally try to hit the best performance per pound spent, normally thats the xx70 area.

I have no issues with people spending their hard earned cash on tech, whether it be the lowest end card or the highest tier card, but i am amazed people will constantly pay Nvidias ever increasing prices on their supposed absolute top end card, only to get bent over a shortwhile later when Nvidia offers something even better, and its generally the same people that this happens to, its very odd.

But i wouldnt tell someone where they should and should not spend their money, thats not my business. But i still stand by my comment, if i have £1k currently to burn do i buy a 2080ti for my PC, or do i buy an Xbox One X, 4K TV, a years Sub to Gamepass, Xbox Gold, Netflix and a few games. Both options are probably going to give you a years worth of enjoyment anyhow.

And yet, here you are. Does that not tell you something (the royal you).

Tears and online rioting.

Anal tears.

If that's true, you'll need to fork out for a Titan if you want their largest GPU, the TU102.

That's right, 2080 Ti buyers might be paying £1200 for a mid-range chip.

Lol does it really matter if it's the largest actual core? Surely if the performance is where it needs to be it makes no difference whether it's a full core or cut down core.
