So $500 translates to £570? That's not a weak pound, that's flippin' anaemic.

Even with the weak pound that should be £470 so maybe £500 for the custom cooled cards would be reasonable with respect to the SRP.

Certainly need reviews to show what the actual performance benefits will be before trying to justify the lolworthy prices.

I think we can almost certainly expect Nvidia to demand reviews only test RTX games with the effects turned on across all cards to show how great these new cards are

Circa £1200.

Just wow.

LOL, not sure why I was hoping for anything else.

For £1200 I'm wanting 8K, 60FPS and Freesync support.

I do like some of the RTX effects, but if they want over £500 for a 2070 then it really does need to handily beat the 1080Ti.

Core for core and clock for clock I suspect gaming performance is exactly the same as Pascal or Volta.

Sorry but anyone pre-ordering without seeing any hard performance numbers needs their head examined ^^ All we saw was literally smoke and mirrors, and lets not forget it has to be implemented in games before you'll see the extra shinies.
