Perfectly happy with my 1080ti (and I only bought that at an exceptional B-Grade deal) they seem to have completely forgotten for most gaming is a hobby and once a hobby becomes too expensive, people tend to drift off to a different hobby....

Nope not at that price my 1080ti plays all the games I like at 1440 no problem.

Nah, my 1080 plays everything just fine at 1440p/60. Can't see me buying a high end GPU again ever tbh, cards are a rip off, games are a rip off, meh.

1080 Ti - 650
2080 Ti - 1050.

i game at 3440 x 1440 and 3840 x 1080 and the 1080 ti are good for me so far.
If i gamed at 4k at high refresh rate then it would be a different story.

Another way to look at is is that a single rtx 2080ti costs the same or if not more what I paid for 2 1080 TIs.

Or 1 rtx 2080 ti = alienware 3418 Dw and a gtx 1080ti ( the price i got them at )

So definately not interested at that price.
