Health and life

Buy the house you want and make sure you don't have more than £6000 in the bank.

Quit job as you are to sick to work, apply for Universal credit and get 4 sick notes over a period of a few months, of the doctor to cover you.

You will still need to attend a few interviews with the job centre but once you go through the work capability assessment interview they will sign you of for ages.

Then once signed off as unfit for work, apply for PIP Personal independence payment.

If all goes well you should be able to get around £1000+ a month.;)

Just thought of even better one.

Don't buy anywhere just move your money out of your account and put it with someone you can trust.

Then rent a nice flat as Universal credit will pay £395 a month towards rent.

You might not own it but at least you will have a stash. ;)

Was, that's a comprehensive set of answers! Thanks.

Waiting to see pain management for my back. Doc is chasing them up. Been waiting since March.

Going to look at a small 2 bed house this week. I prefer a flat but not sure about the service charges. If I go sick in work I get tiny amount in pay.

Well it all depends on your own morals I suppose. Buy the house and go with what I said, but no more than £6k in the bank as they go all funny on you.

Get sick notes asap to cover you, why you have been waiting since March is beyond me?

Get down your local GP and get a sick note.

If I go on the sick then my money will drop drastically. Currently in a bed sit and looking for a place to buy. I think buying something first would be better.

To be honest, I am hoping to work as long as my body lets me, which, I know won't be very much longer. Maybe a year or so. Depends on pain management. Unbelievable how long they take. Doc was miffed too.

He has enough money to buy. He just wants to live in areas he can't afford and have a finish he can't afford. He won't eg. give a postcode of where he wants to buy because he knows we'd find places on Rightmove and undermine his sob stories/troll threads.

Please, grow up. You related to azza? You are trolling!

I have enough money to buy but am specific about what I require. Anyone can find a property within a certain price range. It's the details that matter. Now, go and play with your dolls!

Months and months of not buying because everything has to meet a stupid spec. You say you want x, y, and z so you can have your kid round... but then don't buy anywhere for ages because of your wishlist. Instead you have to be in shared houses and bedsits... how does that fit with having your kid round ffs? A less than ideal home >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> living in bedsits.

Your dolls are waiting for you!

Why are you trolling the guy, he knows what he can afford and knows where he wants to live.

He is just asking for general advise from GD.

I could say a lot more but don't want a ban.

You need a ban pal as you are urinating me off.

What is your reason? What is the point? Just listen to the guy and understand his situational predicament.

I remember his previous threads.

Point being?? We all on here to discuss problems in our lives and opinions sometimes it can go a little a stray.

Your just being pedantic and showing no moral support for a OCUK member not matter what they going through.

Out of curiosity why are you so concerned? We all here to help not criticize.
